32.5 hours (Full time Permanent) – required from 16th April 2018 or as soon as possible.

Salary: £16781/£17772 (pro rata £13039/£13809)

 

We are looking for a teaching assistant who is dedicated, motivated and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals and are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential. We are at an exciting point in the development of our school, as we are now part of the  LEARNERs' Trust Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding classroom practitioner to make a significant contribution to our school community. This post will be to work initially in a year one class. NVQ level 2 or above is essential and previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable.

 

You will:

  • Have high expectations of learning and teaching.
  • Be keen to develop as a professional.
  • Be able to work collaboratively with many colleagues.
  • Be able to act as a positive role model.
  • Be able to contribute to the positive ethos of the school.
  • Be able to deliver a variety of interventions, including phonics.
  • Have some experience of teaching in KS1 and/or EYFS if possible.
