The Trustees and Champions of this welcoming and caring School & Nursery are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our teaching team. What we would like from you:

· You will be an excellent Teaching Assistant with experience of Key Stage 1 & 2 Learning with emphasis on 1:1 support of a hearing impaired child.

· You will monitor and record pupil responses and learning achievements, drawing on any problems which cannot be resolved to the attention of the teacher.

· You will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent as you will be required to cover classes from time to time.

· You will be able to support our innovative and exciting approach to learning and contribute towards forward thinking, planning to fit in with individuals, groups or class.

· You will be involved in planning, organising and implementing individual development plans for pupils including attendance at and contribution to reviews.

· You will have the ability to reflect on and develop your own practice as well as form and maintain appropriate professional relationships with pupils, teachers and support staff, parents/carers, trustees and champions.

· You should be a well organised and proactive team player who will make a positive contribution to our school team.

· Adaptable and flexible approach to working with children, keeping records of their achievement and successful reintegration to mainstream education.
